The word "catechism" means "echo". Which means that our children learn faith—who God is and how to live trusting God's goodness—by seeing and hearing how we "echo" Jesus. That means we need to know Jesus better ourselves. Our catechism program is meant to help families share with their children what Jesus teaches us about God and about our relationship with God and each other. Please help us know how to do this better.
Monthly in-person meetings will be scheduled by groups. We will also hold virtual meetings (always with two adults present) to help guide lessons and facilitate discussions.
Each grade has a class webpage with monthly lesson outlines and related resource links.
Class webpages include parent session guides for each lesson. Parents are encouraged to review these first to help their children with lessons as needed. Yes, this is a family affair.
Some lessons have interactive reviews which can be emailed upon completion to faith@stpaulsfoster.org
Thank you for your patience. This is in the works.
